Academic Programs Islamic Education Grading System Remote & Blended Learning

Intermediate (Grades 7–9)

During the intermediate years at Makassed Abdul Kader Kabbani High School (AKKHS), students build strong study habits, take ownership of learning, and grow into confident, independent learners. Our Intermediate pathway offers a three-year program (Grades 7–9) that prepares students for the official Lebanese Brevet examination within a caring Makassed community in Beirut. Mathematics and sciences are taught with rigor; Arabic and English are major languages of study; French is offered as a second language. History, geography, and civics are taught in Arabic. Character education, inclusion through MLAC partnerships, and STEAM experiences enrich classroom learning.

Secondary School

The Secondary Department at Makassed Abdul Kader Kabbani High School prepares students for official examinations and future pathways beyond school. Learners benefit from academic rigor, counseling support, leadership opportunities, and university guidance on our Beirut campus. AKKHS emphasizes Makassed values, inclusive learning through the Makassed Learning Abilities Center (MLAC), and STEAM/innovation experiences that connect classroom knowledge with real-world problem-solving. Programs are designed to help each student pursue the next step with confidence — whether that is further study in Lebanon or abroad.

STEAM Education

At AKKHS, weekly STEAM from secondary cycles integrates Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics. Students build with Arduino, Micro:bit, and STEM kits — and shine in Do Your Bit, Science Fair, and STEM Fair.
